 The Unit of Neuropsychological Rehabilitation for Children with Acquired Brain Injury of ELEPAP, in cooperation with the Hematology-Oncology Unit of the 1st Department of Pediatrics, University of Athens Medical School, participated in the 1st Conference of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics of the Hellenic Society of Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine on November 20th 2016, with the subject of “The neuropsychological profile of toddlers and children with CNS tumor: Research findings and preliminary results in a Greek sample”.
 The neuropsychologist of ELEPAP, Natalia Karra, presented the first research findings in a Greek sample of children 4-16 years old, diagnosed with brain tumor and the deficits that occurred as a consequence of the disease and the therapeutic interventions. Moreover, she discussed the prospect of a systematic recording and retesting of children, of the investigation of prognostic factors related to the neuropsychological deficit, and of the comparative study of the neuropsychological profile of children with brain tumors and other neoplastic diseases.
