ELEPAP
Rehabilitation for The Disabled

.

The presentation of ELEPAP, which took place during the 29th conference of the Hellenic Society for Social Pediatrics on September the 15th, in Kavala, aimed at raising awareness about the immediate and long- consequences of brain damage in children and adolescent and at presenting the goals, the interventions and the results of the pioneering holistic neuropsychological program for brain injuries of ELEPAP Athens.

Particular emphasis was placed on the critical need to identify the cognitive, learning, emotional and behavioral changes which occur after a craniocerebral injury, or a moderate concussion, or a severe traffic accident, in order to receive the appropriate intervention.
The early holistic neuropsychological intervention program can help the child to ameliorate the cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and functional difficulties and to assist the family and the teachers in better adapting in the family, school and social environment.
Furthermore, the early intervention is critical in preventing future difficulties in adolescence and young adulthood. The Neuropsychological Day treatment Brain Injury Unit is next you at 210 7227758 and tbi@elepap.gr
