ELEPAP
Rehabilitation for The Disabled

.

On the eve of Greek Independence Day the courtyard at ELEPAP was bedecked with Greek flags, and full of short white skirts (fustanellas) and red fez hats (from the traditional uniform of the Greek presidential guard that dated back to that era).
The children from the Athens ELEPAP Early Intervention and Day Care Programmes paraded, sang and recited poems celebrating Independence.
“Today is a double celebration and our joy is also twofold – as we celebrate both our country and the Virgin Mary", recited Marilou in her clear, sweet voice.
Spyros, Michalis, Renos, Faidra, Marilena, with their friends, children from Early Intervention and Day Care Programmes paraded joyfully!
Well done to all – children and teachers alike – for such a wonderful celebration.
