ThesSyn2Between 18 – 22 May, ELEPAP Thessaloniki in the context of ongoing training for its scientific staff – therapists with a view to constantly improve services delivered with a holistic interdisciplinary approach to rehabilitation and the application of innovative programmes realised, with great success, the 1st education cycle of Sensory Integration (S.I.) “The Neurological Basis for Sensory Integration and functional manifestations” with Mrs. E. Maglari as speaker.
The seminar was based on the research and clinical work of A. J. Ayres, Ph.D., OTR and adapted to the needs of Greek therapists, providing the theoretical basis, as well as the practical background for understanding the neurobiological principles of sensory integration – necessary knowledge for applying our rehabilitation programme in children with sensory problems.
