Music Therapy

Music is a moral law. It gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, a charm to sadness and life to everything.
Plato
This therapy is applied with the help of the Music Therapist and the use of special musical instruments in a private, cheerfully decorated room. During the session the child becomes a listener and, at the same time, a “creator” while it can play to the sound of music (musical games). The sessions are one-on-one between just the infant or the child and the therapist.
The benefits of music therapy:
- Externalization of feelings
- Relaxation and stress reduction
- Development and promotion of the imagination
- Improved communication
- Mental balance
- A feeling of safety
- Enjoyable adjustment to their surroundings
The intervention focuses on the person’s mental and emotional development and on language acquisition. It also helps improve auditory discrimination and attention to acoustic stimuli.
